This is an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Commodity Manager to lead sourcing, negotiations and supplier management activity within your commodity area, helping the organisation deliver value, quality and supply performance. The Purchasing Commodity Manager will develop commodity strategies, influence cross-functional teams and build productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across the UK, Europe and South America. This role would suit a proactive, commercially minded professional who enjoys using data, negotiation and strategic thinking to make a measurable business impact.

DUTIES
- Sourcing and Negotiation: Lead sourcing, negotiation and supplier management activity within your commodity area
- Commodity Strategy: Develop and implement commodity strategies that support business objectives and purchasing priorities
- Project Delivery: Lead and influence cross-functional teams to deliver sourcing and product change projects
- Supplier Relationships: Build strong, productive relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders
- Cost Reduction: Drive cost reduction initiatives and support cost management activity across the business
- Supplier Performance: Deliver improvements in quality, lead times and overall supplier performance
- Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret business data to support informed decision-making
- Workload Management: Manage a varied workload while prioritising key business objectives
- Safety and Engagement: Champion high standards of health, safety, wellbeing and employee engagement
