A bit about the role

If you like being around children and want a job that fits around your commitments, this could be a great role for you. You’ll typically work part-time hours between 11.30am and 2.30pm, and our nurseries run all year round. You’ll supervise meals, tidy up efficiently, help soothe children to sleep and support activities for children who are not sleeping. While entry qualifications aren’t necessary, if you want to learn more, we can help you get the training you need.

About the nursery

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, Conservatoire Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and care to children from birth to 5 years old. You can find us in Blackheath, not far from the station. We’re a spacious nursery in a handsome Victorian building, with separate areas for different age groups and a large garden. Our children can choose from a wide range of activities from gardening to science experiments, sensory play to physical activities, dialogic reading and so much more. They love to get out and about in the community too from shopping for fruit and veg at the local market or nature-spotting on Blackheath.
