About Us

Lexxic combines psychological expertise with our Do-IT digital platform to deliver end-to-end neurodiversity solutions. Our technology platform underpins how we assess, support and empower individuals and organisations, and is a critical part of our continued growth. We are building our technology function to create a secure, reliable environment that works well for both our colleagues and our digital platform. It is a great time to join us if you enjoy working in a business where technology really matters and where you can make a genuine difference.

Role Overview

We are looking for a UK based IT & Cloud Operations Engineer to join our growing technology team in a role that combines colleague support, cloud operations, and platform support. This role would suit someone who likes variety, enjoys getting stuck in, and is comfortable solving a mix of day-to-day and longer-term problems. You will work across colleague support, Azure operations, supplier coordination, and developer enablement, helping us keep our technology estate secure, dependable, and ready to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Support & User Operations
    • Provide hands-on support for colleagues across Microsoft 365, devices, and business systems
    • Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, identity, access, and SaaS platforms
    • Manage onboarding, offboarding, device setup, and access across core systems
    • Act as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day support and operational queries
    • Refine support processes, tooling, and documentation over time
  • Azure Cloud Operations
    • Support the day-to-day operation of our Azure environments, including core services, subscriptions, monitoring, and access
    • Maintain a strong cloud security posture through good practice in identity, RBAC, MFA, policy, and operational controls
    • Monitor system health, investigate alerts and incidents, and help strengthen resilience and operational visibility
    • Assist with cloud cost management, housekeeping, and optimisation to support efficient operations
  • Security, Compliance & Governance
    • Support implementation of security policies, standards, and operational procedures across the technology estate
    • Monitor logs, alerts, and incidents, taking action directly where appropriate and escalating where needed
    • Contribute to maintaining practical compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
    • Promote a culture of secure, well-managed operations across both business and technology teams
  • Supplier & Operational Management
    • Work with external suppliers including software vendors, hosting providers, telecoms, and security partners
    • Help manage service performance, coordinate escalations, and ensure issues are followed through to resolution
    • Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, configurations, and support procedures
  • DevOps & Platform Support
    • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tooling
    • Work closely with developers to support environments, releases, access, and deployment troubleshooting
    • Contribute to stronger automation, repeatability, and release reliability across the platform
    • Work with infrastructure and platform configuration, including exposure to infrastructure-as-code concepts such as Terraform or Bicep
    • Help strengthen operational standards, documentation, and good DevOps practices across the organisation

Skills & Experience

You will likely be a strong fit for this role if you enjoy working across a mix of support, infrastructure, and process change, and if you are comfortable balancing day-to-day delivery with longer-term priorities.

Core (Required)

  • Broad hands-on technical experience across IT support, cloud operations, and business systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, and endpoint or access management
  • Practical experience with Azure services such as identity, compute, networking, monitoring, and security controls
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through a wide range of technical issues calmly and independently
  • Comfort working in a small, fast-moving business where priorities can vary across support, infrastructure, and delivery
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to improve processes, document clearly, and take ownership of outcomes
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release support

Desirable

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar deployment and release tooling
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts or tooling such as Terraform, Bicep, or similar
  • Experience working in a startup, scale-up, or small internal technology team
  • Awareness of information security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials

We do not expect you to have experience in every area listed above. We are looking for strong fundamentals, good judgement, and someone who is happy working across a broad role.

Benefits

  • Help shape how we run technology across the business
  • Work closely with both colleagues and developers
  • Make practical changes that improve day-to-day ways of working
  • Build experience across internal IT, cloud operations, and platform support
