We are seeking proactive, passionate and experienced staff who are committed to making a difference to someone\'s life. We have two full time roles available in Donnington and one full time role in Ketley - these roles will require staff to be fully flexible. These roles will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis depending on quality of the applicant.
You will be working with adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours which may be challenging. You will be working actively as part of our dedicated support team, focusing on our service user\'s direct needs, promoting independence and supporting decisions about their future development and progression. You will be encouraging a fun, fulfilling lifestyle and allowing the service user to explore their community.
At Lexrae Support, you will be provided with specific training to develop your knowledge and skills. We also have amazing career progression opportunities if you aspire to forge a career in care.
It is necessary that we employ male support workers for these roles as the specific service users require male-only staff.
*Responsibilities*
* Support clients day-to-day to be able to live a full and independent life
* Driving or supporting clients to access public transport to appointments and to activities stated in their support plans
* Organise day trips for service users to enjoy
* Act as an advocate and key worker as and when required
* Dispense medication / support clients with taking of medication
* Support the service user in line with their care plans
* Working positively with other staff within the team
* Support the clients to keep a tidy home and encourage hygiene and cleanliness
* Encourage clients to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle
* Where appropriate, support the involvement of families, friends, social workers etc
* Complete all administration work as required
* Work within and implement our policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safeguarding

Ideally, you will have some experience or have gained your Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, however, we will also recruit staff with no experience as long as you show passion and the values a support worker requires to work in care. There are also opportunities to gain qualifications throughout your time with us.
