Overview of the role
To ensure that high-quality unlicensed specials products are manufactured and released in compliance with GMP standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies, procedures and programs that enhance overall effectiveness of the operating unit.
- Ensures efficient use of human resources, by regularly monitoring work activities, setting performance expectations, and measuring results, and providing feedback to employees daily.
- Maintains focus on high safety performance, high quality performance, and high productivity performance.
- Ensures equipment is ready for use before processing or cleaned or calibrated. Emphasis on efficient use and scheduling of shared use equipment.
- Assists in troubleshooting and problem-solving when process or personnel issues arise; ensures timely resolution.
- Release unlicensed specials products for sale to customers.
- Ensure strict compliance GMP regulations.
- Work with quality team on all relevant matters.
- Ensure staff receive initial continued training on required SOPS.
- Assist with complaints.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years’ GMP manufacturing experience.
- Experience within a Specials or pharmaceutical environment (preferred).
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team.
