Overview of the role
The role of the Quality Assurance Assistant is to provide support for the QA management team and wider business in completing key Quality governance activity. In this wide-ranging role there is an opportunity to work with teams in wholesale distribution, manufacture of Specials and medicines repacking activity.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the compilation of Quality data by providing summary reports and trends for Monthly quality data packs and the Management Quality Review data packs.
- Maintain up to date logs related to Quality activities including but not limited to Quality Events, CAPA, change controls and customer complaints.
- Support operational functions in the generation and management of Quality activity records.
- Provide support for the management of records. Issuing, filing and archiving.
- Provide support for the supplier management process by reviewing and preparing import documentation for RP review.
- Provide QA support in our customer qualification and revalidation process.
- Support internal audits where required.
- Participate in Risk Management and gap assessment activities.
- Participate in investigations and root cause analysis.
- Work closely with other key departments within the business to promote compliance with the Pharmaceutical Quality System.
The Ideal Candidate
We are open to considering graduates with a degree in a relevant subject or candidates with previous admin / support experience in a life sciences or pharmacy environment. Training is provided in Good Distribution Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice as well as role specific processes.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in a life sciences-based role
- Experience in a GxP environment
