Solicitor

Salary Range: AED 10,000 – AED 15,000 Per Month

(£3,000 – £3,700)

Job description: We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Immigration Solicitor to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in handling complex immigration matters, with a particular focus on Judicial Review, Asylum, Modern Slavery, and Unlawful Detention cases.

This role involves working closely with clients on often sensitive and time-critical issues, providing clear, strategic legal guidance and robust representation in accordance with current immigration laws and evolving case law. This role includes the provision to work from home on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of immigration matters, including but not limited to:

• Judicial Review applications
• Asylum claims and appeals
• Modern Slavery referrals (NRM) and related applications
• Unlawful Detention claims
• Provide expert legal advice and representation on complex immigration matters, particularly involving Judicial Review, Asylum, Modern Slavery, and Unlawful Detention.
• Ensure compliance with SRA and Legal Aid Agency regulations
• Oversee the preparation and progression of cases, including coordinating with caseworkers and supervising documentation.
• Stay informed on legislative changes and case law developments affecting immigration and public law

Skills

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (minimum 3 years PQE preferred)
• Proven experience handling Judicial Review and public law immigration matters
• In-depth knowledge of asylum procedures, trafficking protections, and detention-related issues
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills
• Legal Aid experience is desirable
