About The Role
Join our team as a Paralegal to contribute to the development of Lexis+UK, LexisNexis UK's online practical guidance and research product for legal professionals.
Responsibilities
- Review new and existing content for quality and legal accuracy for the Commercial practice area
- Monitor developments and input information to maintain trackers of consultations, cases and key dates
- Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements and introduce tools or technologies that reduce manual effort and turnaround time
- Draft practical guidance content, including Practice Notes, Checklists, and Precedents as and when required
Requirements
- Law degree, GDL, LPC, or equivalent; legal research and writing skills
- Understanding of legal issues, procedures and content types
- Working knowledge or interest in Commercial law
- Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
- Clear and succinct writing style adaptable to LexisNexis house style
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including lawyers, contributors and sales teams
