About The Role
Join our UK Corporate content team to develop and maintain online practical guidance, insights and materials for corporate lawyers. You will join a high-functioning team producing an established market-leading product covering practical guidance and know-how on corporate transactions such as private and public M&A, equity capital markets, private equity, corporate joint ventures as well as company law topics relating to subjects such as share capital, corporate governance, directors and company meetings.
Responsibilities
- Create, develop and maintain content for the Corporate practical guidance module, including practice notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts and other materials.
- Monitor developments relevant to our customer base.
- Work closely with the Lexis+® UK Hub to produce a market-leading current awareness offering, providing news and analysis of the highest quality, tailored to the needs and expectations of corporate lawyers.
- Engage proactively with customers and market contacts to understand their needs and stay updated with developments in practice.
- Assist with customer questions via feedback or the LexisAsk service and develop Q&A materials.
- Work proactively with other Lexis+® UK practice areas and the wider business.
Requirements
- Experience in corporate practice and company law, particularly public M&A transactions and corporate governance developments.
- Qualified lawyer or knowledge lawyer with experience in a private practice law firm or a FTSE company.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts and their practical application concisely and clearly.
- Excellent research, organization, and planning skills, with a strong drive to meet challenging objectives and deliverables.
- The ability to work effectively and co-operatively with others, adopting a can-do attitude.
- A proactive approach, taking responsibility for continually developing and expanding areas of expertise, skills and knowledge.
