As our Director of Business Development, you’ll shape strategy, sharpen execution, and elevate performance across a large, diverse team. You’ll bring the judgement to set direction, the operational discipline to drive consistency, and the coaching mindset to lift capability at every level.
What you’ll lead
- A sizeable, multi‑tier sales/BD organisation with senior managers and Heads of Sales
- A culture of accountability, commercial excellence, and continuous improvement
- Strategic planning, structural optimisation, and process refinement
- Hands‑on performance leadership — forecasting, pipeline health, deal coaching, and productivity uplift
- Cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, finance, operations, customer success, and product
What you bring
- Significant experience in sales or business development and in leading large teams (ideally 40+ people)
- Proven experience managing managers — not just individual contributors
- Ownership of revenue targets and team‑level number
- Strength in forecasting, CRM discipline, KPIs, and operational rigour
- A track record of scaling teams, improving productivity, and turning around underperformance
- Experience leading mixed‑seniority teams and developing both senior and emerging talent
Who you are
- A strategic operator who can also dive into the details when needed
- A builder of systems, structure, and repeatable success
- A leader who inspires confidence, raises the bar, and drives results through others
If you’re ready to shape a high‑growth commercial engine and lead a team to its next level of performance, we’d love to talk.
