About the Role
We are seeking a collaborative and strategic leader to shape and deliver the UK Corporate Practice Area strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment with the wider Legal Content Strategy and delivering clear value for customers and the business. You will lead a team of professional support lawyers (PSLs), working closely with colleagues across Product, Sales, Go‑to‑Market and Marketing. By combining customer insight, data, and market awareness, you will help evolve high‑quality practical guidance content and support innovation across our legal products, including Lexis+ and Lexis+ Protégé. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through leadership, partnership, and a strong focus on customer needs and inclusive ways of working.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of practical guidance for UK Corporate law that is relevant, accessible, and customer‑focused.
- Ensure content meets high standards of quality, clarity, and usability, and is clearly differentiated in the market.
- Support, develop, and engage a diverse team, fostering an inclusive culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Work cross‑functionally to support innovation, including the responsible use of AI and data to inform content and product development.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into strategy and delivery.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to support effective product positioning and go‑to‑market activity.
- Contribute to revenue growth and the wider success of connected legal products.
- Participate in cross‑practice initiatives and leadership groups to support shared goals.
Requirements:
- Qualification and experience in UK corporate law, with the ability to apply legal knowledge in practical, user‑focused ways.
- Experience leading or mentoring others, with an inclusive and supportive leadership style.
- Ability to think strategically and communicate ideas clearly to a range of audiences.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams and disciplines.
- Interest in legal technology, digital tools, and innovation in legal services.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in how legal content supports customer and business outcomes.
