About the role Law360 is seeking a Court Reporter to cover developments in the U.K. court system, primarily in London. The Court Reporter will work with the broader Court Reporting team to keep track of cases, attend selected proceedings, communicate with editors and file daily news stories. Training is provided on legal topics.
Responsibilities
- Monitor court dockets, regulatory databases and official websites.
- Pitch story ideas to editors and contribute to news coverage.
- Develop expertise in news gathering, writing, and editing.
Requirements
- Professional reporting experience; some court or legal reporting is advantageous.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Experience writing under deadline pressure.
- Undergraduate or post‑graduate degree in journalism or related field.
- Qualified candidates will be asked to complete writing and reporting tests electronically.
