About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Test Engineer you will be responsible for developing and executing performance and automation tests. This position works with management to enhance quality and process standards and to plan and execute effective and efficient test approaches to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and/or data.
Responsibilities
- Innovating process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction
- Researching tools and leads to identify and implement cost-effective, enhanced testing capabilities and product quality
- Identifying areas to improve quality and implementing initiatives, improving testing capability and efficiency
- Interacting internally to plan testing for product delivery, to ensure products meet product requirements and quality standards
- Finding root causes of performance issues in partnership with Architects, Developers, and Network and System Engineers
- Conducting project reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined and implementing procedures are met
- Configuring, maintaining, and/or administering testing tools or environments
Requirements
- Have a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Show understanding of industry trends
- Show excellent understanding of QA methodologies
- Have experience with automation tools such as Cucumber, Java, Serenity, Playwright, or other tools that increase testing efficiency
- Display solid knowledge of process improvement
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the software development process
- Have advanced written and verbal communication skills with solid research skills
- Be able to develop and execute complex automated and performance testing
