Overview

RX Global is a global leader in events and exhibitions, aiming to create unforgettable experiences for attendees and exhibitors while driving sustainability through a Net Zero Carbon events pledge.

We want a Sustainability Project Manager to lead key sustainability initiatives, partner with stakeholders and use data insights to achieve measurable reductions in event‑related emissions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead impactful projects to support emissions reductions, including roll‑out, engagement and tracking of the RX Sustainability Scorecard.
  • Develop and launch learning materials to build internal sustainability capability, working with external partners.
  • Provide consultancy support to a selection of high‑impact events to design and deliver their sustainability strategies.
  • Work with the Sustainability Data Manager to measure and analyse event‑related carbon emissions, including from suppliers.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including exhibitors and suppliers, to drive meaningful change at our events.
  • Represent RX externally in industry workstreams related to the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative.
  • Support the Sustainability Council and engage with cross‑functional teams to drive our sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in sustainability.
  • Strong understanding of carbon, sustainability or ESG principles.
  • Ability to influence and bring stakeholders on a sustainability journey.
  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Passion for sustainability or corporate responsibility.
  • Excellent written and confident verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
