About the Role
As a Sustainability Data Manager (maternity cover), you will support the development and delivery of sustainability reporting and carbon accounting initiatives across RX.
You will work with global stakeholders to collect, analyse, and communicate sustainability data, helping drive progress against key sustainability goals and supporting engagement across the business.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for all climate data including data captured by venues, event footprinting and attendee/exhibitor travel.
- Establish systems and tools to collect, capture, analyse and report RX sustainability data.
- Collect, input and analyse scope 3 emissions data from our shows globally to further develop our carbon emissions model.
- Build the capacity of the RXPH team based in the Philippines to support sustainability data entry and reporting.
- Deliver workshops to event teams to help them understand their event carbon footprints and how this will inform a sustainability strategy.
- Develop a good understanding of sustainability initiatives across the business and collate it centrally.
- Raise awareness of the RX sustainability playbook, action plan and support engagement in carbon reduction strategies for show teams.
- Represent RX externally in industry workstreams related to the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative.
Requirements
- Experienced and competent at using Excel, including complex formulae
- Sophisticated data analytics
- Strong understanding of carbon reporting/accounting
- Prior corporate experience or experience of working on carbon accounting/reporting
- Able to demonstrate a passion for a sustainability related / Corporate Responsibility field
- Excellent written and confident verbal communication
