About the Role
As a Data Operations Executive, you will play a key role in coordinating, governing, and optimizing data activities across the business.
Working closely with business and technical teams, you will ensure data-related requests are delivered with quality, compliance, and efficiency while supporting strategic data initiatives that enable business growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee operational data requests, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance are met.
- Act as central point of contact for data-related topics across business and technical teams.
- Ensure alignment with data protection regulations and internal governance processes.
- Identify and resolve data quality and process issues, including root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement of data processes and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Support and enable strategic initiatives such as Data Strategy and Data Activation activities.
- Conduct impact assessments for changes in data processes or requirements.
- Monitor data operations and proactively mitigate risks related to quality, compliance, or delivery.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data processes, governance, and data protection requirements.
- Experience in coordinating data-related workflows and operational requests.
- Ability to perform root cause and impact analysis on data quality and process issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Understanding of data infrastructure and data flow concepts (no deep DBA expertise required).
- Ability to identify process improvements and drive implementation of new approaches.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.
