About the team: You will be part of an international team delivering implementations for LexisNexis Risk Solutions clients.
About the role: The Manager is responsible for project management as a project director and team management. Project management duties include directing other project managers to ensure projects are on-track, resource allocation and overseeing overall quality of project deliveries. Management responsibilities will include the recruitment of consultants and/or team leads, development thereof, motivation and assessment of performance. The PS Manager delegates to the team leads and/or consultants the team goals and best practices as set by the Regional Director. As a supervisor for team managers and/or consultants, the manager oversees client escalations for project issues and acts as a second escalation point, helps chase internal resources such as solutions experts, technical operations and/or product development when necessary while keeping the Client Engagement Manager up to date on issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Development Focus: Drive talent development across the organisation by identifying capability needs, supporting succession planning, and fostering growth. Provide access to diverse learning opportunities and act as a trusted mentor and coach to enable individual and team development.
- Professional Expertise: Drive continuous learning and innovation by seeking new technological and professional knowledge and mastering relevant skills. Leverage internal and external networks to share expertise, encourage team development, and empower feedback on industry trends and disruptors. Maintain strong knowledge of at least two products and/or the industry, positioning yourself as a trusted expert.
- Customer Focus: Drive customer acquisition and engagement by identifying strategies to attract new clients and acting as a brand advocate at every touchpoint. Build trust and long-term commitment with a diverse customer base, leveraging internal and external networks to deliver innovative solutions. Promote a customer-first mindset across the team to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Leadership: Provide clear, inspiring leadership by communicating a compelling vision and aligning teams with organisational goals. Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, make courageous decisions for the benefit of the business, and build consensus. Foster inclusivity by considering diverse perspectives and act as an internal brand evangelist to promote optimism and collaboration across functions.
- Innovation & Creativity: Create a collaborative environment that encourages sharing and development of innovative ideas. Support individuals in building confidence to pursue creative solutions and enable experimentation to improve business performance. Exercise sound judgement in backing calculated risks that deliver measurable benefits for customers.
- Technical Skills: Possess a clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle with strong technical knowledge of databases, operating systems, and application servers (desired). Proficiency in English is required, with additional proficiency in one EMEA language preferred.
