You will contribute to the creation and development of high-quality legal content within the Commercial practical guidance module, helping to ensure it remains accurate, relevant and commercially valuable. The role involves monitoring developments, engaging with customers, and collaborating across teams to deliver market-leading current awareness and guidance for legal practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation, development, and maintenance of a market-leading content set for the Commercial practical guidance module to a high technical and editorial standard.
  • Monitor developments, including anticipated upcoming changes, relevant to customers and internal teams.
  • Work closely with Lexis+ Hub to produce high-quality current awareness, news, and analysis tailored to practitioners.
  • Engage proactively with customers and market contacts to understand requirements and stay up to date with practice developments.
  • Support customer queries via feedback channels or the LexisAsk service across relevant coverage areas.
  • Collaborate with other Lexis+ practice areas and the wider business where relevant.

Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer in England and Wales (solicitor, PSL, or barrister) with significant experience in commercial law and practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical application of relevant laws, issues, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal and procedural concepts clearly, concisely, and in-house style.
  • Deep understanding of the legal market and the in-house legal community, including practitioner needs and challenges.
  • Experience drafting legal content, including substantive and procedural materials and updates on key developments.
  • Excellent research, organisation, and planning skills with the ability to meet challenging objectives and deadlines.
