About the Role
This full-time Immigration Specialist (paralegal) role focuses on creating and maintaining practical guidance content for professionals working in immigration law. You will contribute to a leading online resource, helping users navigate key areas of UK immigration by delivering clear, accurate, and up‐to‐date materials.
Responsibilities
- Working closely alongside and under the supervision of the Lead Immigration Knowledge Lawyer, writing, editing, and maintaining content for the Immigration module, including practical guidance notes, precedent documents, checklists, flowcharts, Q&As, and related materials
- Monitoring legal and practice developments relevant to our customer base
- Engaging with customers and legal contacts to understand their needs and staying updated on the latest developments and market trends
- Assisting with customer questions and feedback
- Collaborating proactively with over 30 other Lexis+ UK practice areas and the wider business who contribute to the Immigration module
- Working closely with Lexis+ Hub to produce a market-leading current awareness offering
Requirements
- Some experience of and interest in immigration content or a strong knowledge of, and some experience in, immigration law, in either case with a genuine interest in the field
- Good working knowledge of Asana, Arbortext, Echo and Appian
- Ability to write clearly and concisely, effectively communicating complex legal concepts and their practical application
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in legal content writing and review
- Strong research, organisational, and planning skills, with a solid drive to meet challenging objectives and deliverables
