About the Role
We are looking for a Market Development Representative to manage, develop and grow qualified lead volume and sales pipeline for the business. This role is responsible for qualifying inbound inquiries to determine sales readiness, demand generation via email, social chat and calling into target accounts in an effort to schedule initial meetings for sales representatives and supporting in-person and virtual events via pre- and post-event outreach. This role is often the first touchpoint for prospects interested in LexisNexis Risk Solutions and will set the tone for the sales cycle and relationship following. Professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellent communication are key characteristics to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will be a highly energized self-starter who can thrive working autonomously while also being skilled at building solid working relationships with global team members and sales stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound leads and conduct outreach via phone, email, social media, and chat to drive engagement and schedule meetings for Sales.
- Support demand generation efforts by promoting and following up on in-person and virtual events.
- Capture and document key insights from conversations, ensuring CRM accuracy and marketing feedback.
- Build strong relationships with Sales and Marketing to ensure lead quality and pipeline conversion.
- Maintain a structured prospecting cadence and meet activity and conversion targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years in sales, marketing, or customer-focused roles.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and proactive approach.
- Comfortable using CRM and sales tools like Salesforce, Eloqua, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and research skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
