About the Role
Join LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance at an exciting stage in the growth of our European regulatory intelligence capability. In this role, you will monitor and assess regulatory developments across Europe, transforming complex legal and regulatory change into clear, practical intelligence for compliance professionals. Working within a collaborative global team, you will help shape how regulatory intelligence is researched, assessed and delivered while contributing to evolving, technology-enabled workflows.
Responsibilities
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, policy and supervisory developments across EU institutions, European regulators and priority member states.
- Assess developments for relevance, materiality, timing and potential customer impact, identifying matters that require alerts, content updates or escalation.
- Draft clear and timely regulatory alerts, summaries, updates and guidance that explain what has changed, why it matters and the practical compliance considerations.
- Maintain accurate, current and customer-focused European regulatory intelligence content across assigned coverage areas.
- Support customer discussions and provide practical subject matter input to Sales, Product, Marketing and other customer-facing teams.
- Review content and source coverage for accuracy, clarity and completeness, helping to resolve gaps, duplication or missed developments.
- Contribute to improvements in regulatory intelligence processes, editorial standards and technology-enabled monitoring and publishing workflows.
Requirements
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Experience in regulatory intelligence, regulatory change management, compliance, legal publishing, legal practice, governance, risk, public policy or regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge of EU regulatory structures, legislative processes, institutions and authorities.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting and editorial skills, with the judgement to distinguish material change from routine activity.
- The ability to translate complex regulatory developments into concise, practical content for organisations operating across jurisdictions.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- A collaborative, commercially aware and adaptable approach, with confidence working across regions, time zones and evolving workflows.
- Financial services experience and familiarity with content management, structured publishing or AI-enabled research workflows are desirable.
