Responsibilities

• Conduct research and interviews, turn around urgentcopyand write to deadline
• Identifystories that appeal to the readership. Useexpertiseto write big-impact investigations and commentary pieces
• Support senior journalists and editors by researching news stories or preparing information for coverage
• Understand and explain complex regulatory or policy topics, exercise strong news judgement and ensure attention to detail

Requirements

• Great reporting, media or publishing industry experience or knowledge
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work across international teams
• Commitment to producing high-quality,accuratereporting
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Fluent command of English; ability in other European languages an advantage
• Newsroom experience, ideally from covering financial services regulation
