About the Business
Cirium’s goal is to keep the world connected. We are the industry leader in aviation analytics, helping our customers understand the past, navigate the present, and predict what will happen tomorrow. Our mission is to transform the aviation industry by enabling financial institutions, aircraft manufacturers, tech giants, airlines, airports, travel companies, and many more to accelerate their digital transformation.

About the Team
Our innovation hub, Propulsion Labs, is dedicated to developing new products, data sets, and tools that deliver customer value. Projects evolve through three phases: Explore (1–2 people, 2-week deliverables), Discover (3–5 people, 1 month), and Grow (5+ people, 2 months). Success is measured by customer-facing demos, project momentum, and strong collaboration.

About the Role
At Cirium, we’re transforming the aviation industry through cutting-edge analytics. As leaders in aviation data, we help our customers understand the past, navigate the present, and anticipate the future, leveraging over 300 terabytes of data from more than 2,000 sources.

As a Product Manager in Propulsion Labs, you’ll lead high-impact initiatives across new products, high-risk improvements, data partnerships, and internal tools. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, assess their value and feasibility, and ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals. This role demands a strong grasp of technical concepts, adaptability, and proactive leadership. You’ll be expected to communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and self-manage in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for a driven, innovative Product Manager with a background in User Experience, passionate about solving problems for both our business and our customers.

About you:
Experienced in Product & UX: You bring years of experience in product management and/or user experience, with a proven track record of delivering value-driven, usable solutions, ideally in tech-powered environments.
Problem Solver: You thrive on complexity, breaking down large challenges into manageable parts and using sound judgement to assess risks and make decisions.
Technically Fluent: Whether or not you code, you understand the technical landscape. You’re comfortable with design patterns, functional specs, wireframes, and visual interface design.
Adaptable: You embrace ambiguity and change, especially in environments where AI and UX best practices are evolving rapidly. You can pivot strategies based on user feedback and technological advancements.
Collaborative: You build strong relationships across engineering and business teams, influence without authority, and deliver results through teamwork.
Data-Driven: You use both qualitative and quantitative data to guide decisions, measure impact, and understand downstream effects.
Industry-Aware: You stay current by attending webinars, engaging with experts, and occasionally travelling to meet customers or attend conferences.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, from exploration to delivery, within Propulsion Labs’ innovation framework.
• Facilitate project team formation, internal recruiting, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Guide projects through structured phases (Explore, Discover, Grow), ensuring clear criteria for progression or termination.
• Serve as the information hub for project teams, supporting decision-making and maintaining alignment with Propulsion Labs’ strategic goals.
• Champion a fail-fast mentality, encouraging experimentation and rapid iteration.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes transparently to all stakeholders.
• Support a psychologically safe environment where all team members can contribute ideas and feedback.
• Adapt to evolving project requirements and organizational priorities.
• Conduct user research and analyze market trends to inform product decisions.
• Continuously gather and incorporate user feedback to improve the product.

Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven success in shipping impactful products or features
• Strong proficiency with UI design/prototyping tools
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
• Knowledge of the aviation industry
• Passion for innovation, AI, data, and technology
• Resilience and a proactive mindset, ready to pivot and pursue high-impact opportunities
