About the Role
We are looking for a consultative and commercially driven Field Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customers, protecting base revenue, driving renewals, and identifying incremental growth opportunities. You will work closely with customers to understand their strategy, objectives and challenges, positioning LexisNexis Risk Solutions as a trusted partner. This role also supports new business activity in collaboration with Business Development colleagues and requires strong account planning and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets as set by the Sales Director.
- Manage and retain an existing portfolio of accounts, ensuring protection and growth of base revenue.
- Develop and execute customer account plans and retention strategies.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through gap analysis and insight-led selling.
- Build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across customer organisations.
- Support new business activity alongside Business Development Managers, including client meetings, demos and on-site visits.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and pipeline management.
- Collaborate closely with sales support, technical and implementation teams to deliver customer success.
Requirements
- Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B, SaaS, data or technology-led environment.
- Strong experience managing and growing key customer accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time, priorities and forecasts effectively.
- Comfortable working in a team-based, collaborative sales environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Open to learning and self-development.
