We are looking for a talented Senior Consultant (Public Affairs, Engagement, Property) to play a key role in our vibrant office in central Manchester. About the role
The successful applicant will work with a fantastic variety of clients, providing support across public affairs, corporate communications and engagement. Our core business is providing strategic advice and services across real estate and property, including energy, housing, transport and infrastructure.
We need excellent copy writers and terrific communicators, able to express themselves confidently and articulately. Agency and in-house experience are both warmly welcomed. Experience of property communications, including community and stakeholder engagement, is desirable but not essential. Our work is often political in nature, so political experience and understanding is an advantage, for example experience of being a local councillor, or working for a political party or MP, of any political persuasion. The role requires 4 days in office in Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Owning client relationships and providing strategic communications advice and services
- Playing a key role responding to new business briefs and pitching to prospective clients
- Developing and delivering communication, campaign and engagement strategies
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide quality assurance across accounts
- Mentoring junior colleagues and playing a role in their professional development

- Familiarity with the planning system, including community and stakeholder engagement
