We are looking for a talented Video Editor with videographer capability to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Studio, you will be responsible for all aspects of the editing department – from formatting and backing up files to editing, subtitling, and inserting graphic overlays. At times you will be asked to film content such as talking heads or for social.
You will work across a wide range of outputs, from developing promos for pitches, fast cut advertising pieces, and corporate videos. This is a varied role that requires a flexible approach as well as editing flair and a keen eye for detail. The role will be based in our Lexington London office (with hybrid working, minimum three days in the office a week), helping to service clients and grow our integrated video production offer.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Delivering new video content across online platforms and broadcast e.g. promotional videos, social media content, corporate videos, and interactive videos.
- Ability to interpret and analyse scripts and storyboards into engaging visual narratives.
- Be comfortable filming content and sound.
- Be eager to learn new skills and get involved with all projects.
- Work as part of the team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Be passionate about video editing and interested in new trends.
- Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
- Enjoy the social aspects of being part of a friendly, collaborative team.
- Must be highly motivated.
- Full competency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Would be nice to have some competency and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- Great portfolio or demonstrable video editing experience (at least 1 year).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
