We’re looking for a senior leader to join our Health practice and help shape some of the most important conversations in UK healthcare. As Director, you will lead major client partnerships across pharma, biotech, health providers and patient organisations as well as taking a leading role in growing the business and team.
We are looking for candidates with experience in both or either healthcare communications or public affairs, to help lead a talented, ambitious and friendly team where there will be significant opportunities for career development. Key responsibilities will include:
- Act as senior strategic adviser across high‑profile health clients
- Lead integrated client campaigns across corporate and crisis communications, media relations and public affairs projects
- Guide clients through major policy, access, system and media issues
- Build relationships across the media, government, NHS, patient groups and industry
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team
- Drive new business: shaping proposals, leading pitches, and cultivating new opportunities
- Help shape the future growth and positioning of our Health division
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years in health policy, public affairs, communications or consultancy
- Deep understanding of the NHS, health politics and regulatory landscape
- Confidence advising senior leaders and managing complex programmes
- Strong leadership, writing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial mindset and proven experience winning new business – please note that previous experience is essential
- Passion for improving health outcomes and driving real-world impact
- Experience of management and leading a team.
You’ll work with a talented, mission-driven team on issues that matter—from access and health inequalities to oncology, digital health, rare disease and system reform. You’ll have space to lead, innovate and shape the direction of our growing Health practice.
