Lexington Reception Services is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operation of client sites and internal facilities. The Facilities Assistant plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment while delivering a high standard of service that reflects Lexington's commitment to professionalism and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily operation and upkeep of buildings and facilities
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs
- Conduct regular site inspections and report any issues
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Report hazards and incidents
- Support fire safety procedures
- Provide professional service to clients and visitors
- Assist with meeting room setups
- Respond and carry out ad-hoc client set-up requests
- Provide mailroom cover as required to ensure continuity of service
- Sort, distribute, and collect incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Ensure confidential and sensitive documents are handled securely
- Maintain accurate mailroom records and logs
Working Conditions:
- Full-time role with 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm
- May involve manual handling
- Based on-site at client locations
