Lexington is an award-winning contract caterer that focuses on providing great food and service to customers. To do this we need fabulous people and we work hard to create an environment where our team members feel engaged, inspired, valued and enjoy what they do.
As a General Assistant, you will provide support across various operational tasks to help ensure smooth daily running of the site or department:
- Ensure the retail outlet and service area is always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked
- Supporting with set up of lunch service
- Serving food and operating tills during lunch service
- Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or visitors
- Restocking of free issue tea points, including fruits, snacks and hot beverages
- Daily cleaning of bean to cup coffee machines throughout the building
- Help with the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment
- Support team members with various duties as required
- Operate basic machinery or tools safely under supervision
- Follow COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines and company policies
Working pattern: Monday - Thursday 10:30 - 19:45 (including a 30 minute break)
