What you’ll be doing…
As an Events Floor Manager you will:
- Develop events from proposal right up to delivery, communicate and maintain project timelines and priorities as well as responding appropriately to incoming enquiries via phone and email.
- Lead the front-of-house team during live events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the seamless flow of service.
- Manage event timelines and coordinate with culinary, bar, and operations teams to maintain precise execution.
- Brief and supervise service staff, ensuring clear understanding of event expectations, floor plans, menu details, and service style (e.g. plated, buffet, tray service).
- Oversee set-up and breakdown of FOH areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health & safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, and venue-specific regulations at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in event or hospitality floor management, ideally in premium or high-profile environments (e.g., luxury catering, hotels, private members clubs, fine dining restaurants).
- Comfortable managing a variety of events — from small receptions to complex fine dining setups.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
- Desirable: Personal license holder, first aid trained, fine dining trained, cocktail trained.
