What you’ll be doing…
As an Events Floor Manager you will develop events from proposal right up to delivery, including set, communicate and maintain project timelines and priorities as well as responding appropriately to incoming enquiries via phone and email and chasing to a conclusion.
  • Lead the front-of-house team during live events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the seamless flow of service.
  • Manage event timelines and coordinate with culinary, bar, and operations teams to maintain precise execution.
  • Brief and supervise service staff, ensuring clear understanding of event expectations, floor plans, menu details, and service style (e.g. plated, buffet, tray service).
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, venue management, and suppliers, representing the company professionally and responsively.
  • Monitor staff presentation, guest interactions, and service delivery in real time, resolving issues immediately and discreetly.
  • Oversee set-up and breakdown of FOH areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health & safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, and venue-specific regulations at all times.
  • Support recruitment and training of casual and full-time service staff when needed.
  • Maintain detailed post-event reports and contribute to ongoing service improvements.
Working Pattern: 5 out 7 days some weekends
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in event or hospitality floor management, ideally in premium or high-profile environments (e.g., luxury catering, hotels, private members clubs, fine dining restaurants).
  • Leadership: Confident team leader who can motivate and direct teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Professionalism: Impeccable presentation and communication skills, with a calm and composed approach to pressure.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to service style, timing, and guest experience.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable managing a variety of events — from small receptions to complex fine dining setups.
  • Availability: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours based on event schedules.
  • Desirable: Personal license holder, first aid trained, fine dining trained, cocktail trained
