We are looking for an experienced and hands-on full-time Catering Manager to lead a busy catering and hospitality operation in the High Wycombe area.

What you’ll be doing…

  • You will take responsibility for the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the catering operation, ensuring every customer receives a warm, professional and consistent experience.
  • Leading, motivating and supporting the catering team.
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
  • Supporting hospitality functions, events and special services.
  • Managing rotas, labour control and stock ordering.
  • Ensuring food safety, compliance and health & safety records are accurate and up to date.
  • Coaching and developing team members.
  • Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Creating a welcoming, professional and customer-focused environment.
  • Supporting kitchen or front of house operations when required.
  • Ensuring service runs efficiently during both planned and peak periods.
  • Creating a positive and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.

No two days are the same. Some will be planned and structured, while others will require flexibility, calm leadership and a willingness to step in wherever needed — whether that’s supporting the kitchen, assisting front of house, helping with hospitality events or guiding the team through a busy service.

What can you bring?

  • Previous management experience within hospitality, catering or a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • A good understanding of food safety, compliance and due diligence.
  • Experience supporting functions, events or hospitality services.
  • The ability to coach, motivate and develop a team.
  • Clear communication skills and a calm approach under pressure.
  • A flexible, proactive and hands-on management style.
  • A genuine passion for service, quality and customer experience.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being visible, involved and operationally present — a manager who leads from the front, keeps standards high and helps create a warm and professional hospitality experience.

What We Offer

  • Company benefits package.
  • Opportunities for development and progression.
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • The chance to make a real impact within a service-focused catering operation.
