Working Pattern: 5/7, predominantly Monday - Friday, some flexibility is required based on business needs including earlies, lates and on weekends.
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced General Manager who will proactively manage teams on site as well be accountable for recruiting, inducting, training and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient, high quality service to our customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Controlling and managing a budget creating a platform for financial growth.
- Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence and innovative menu planning.
- Motivating and managing a team of 9 including Head Chef.
- Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
- Responsible for the smooth running of onsite café/restaurant as well as overall hospitality and 13 meeting rooms.
As a General Manager you will:
- Have proven experience of successfully managing a large team.
- Legal/Law Firm background is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in mobilisation within contract catering.
- Demonstrate significant operational management and leadership experience ideally within fast-paced environments.
- Have a minimum of 2/3 years of solid experience within a similar role.
- Show a genuine interest in customer service excellence.
- Be a strong team player, highly confident and positive.
- Be a self-motivated and innovative leader.
- Have hospitality and events management experience.
