What you’ll be doing…
Lexington Catering is looking for a dedicated General Assistant to support a range of operational and hospitality tasks that keep our environments running smoothly and guests feeling welcome.
General Assistant With Hospitality Assistant Duties
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace across all areas, including dining and service zones
- Support team members with various tasks, including cleaning, tidying, and general maintenance
- Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and kitchenware
- Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines in line with company policy
- Provide professional, respectful support for dietary needs and preferences
- Help prepare, present, and serve meals and beverages
- Ensure service areas are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming for guests and staff
- Handle kitchen utensils, equipment, and linens in accordance with hygiene standards
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with clients, visitors, or service users
- Respond promptly and courteously to requests or inquiries from guests or colleagues
Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours p/w
