Our client, Riverstone Living – Bishops Avenue combines luxury apartments with the services of a private members’ club and a boutique hotel. Designed for people over 65, it supports an active, independent lifestyle while offering reassurance through service, security, and wellbeing support.
The Role – Executive Chef
Based onsite at our Bishops Avenue residence, we are seeking an Executive Chef with a passion for culinary excellence and a flair for leadership. This is a unique opportunity to shape an exceptional dining experience while leading a talented team in a prestigious, forward‑thinking environment.
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 | 10:00am – 8:00pm | 50 hours per week
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance‑based bonus in addition to base compensation. Bonus amounts and payout timing are determined by individual performance, achievement of team and company goals, and overall business results. Bonus eligibility and structure may vary by year and are subject to the terms of the company’s bonus program in effect at the time of payout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high‑performing catering team to deliver outstanding service to residents and clients
- Recruiting, training, and supporting staff to maintain excellence and efficiency
- Managing stock, ordering, and cost control to ensure financial performance
- Maintaining clear communication within the team, with management, and with clients to ensure operational excellence
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety, COSHH, health & safety, environmental, and legal regulations
- Champion a resident‑first culture, ensuring every interaction reflects warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Maintain consistently high service standards aligned with brand and hospitality expectations
