We're a specialist catering company dedicated to providing delicious, healthy and exciting food for Independent Schools. We know the crucial role that food can play on a pupil's ability to learn, develop and flourish. Lexington is committed to safeguarding children and colleagues. Candidates shortlisted for this role will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including the Children's Barred List.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day catering operations and staff supervision
- Support the delivery of high-quality food and beverage service
- Help ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards
- Assist with staff training, development, and performance monitoring
- Support stock control, ordering, and budget management
- Respond to customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and service delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team motivation
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Qualifications
- Experience in catering or hospitality management, ideally in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
