About LEXI Finance

LEXI Finance is a real estate finance consultancy based in Covent Garden, London. The business delivers on a broad range of funding mandates for corporate property investors and developers across the UK and Western Europe. LEXI structures innovative solutions using short term finance, senior debt, mezzanine finance and joint venture equity for all types of real estate projects, relying on bespoke, data-backed analysis to provide best-in-class advice. The business is an early adopter of AI across its research, analysis and origination processes, and continues to invest in technology that keeps its advice ahead of the market.

Since forming in early 2020, LEXI has closed over £1 billion of funding mandates, typically ranging from £2m to £50m. Recent transactions include a £30m hunting line for an asset manager and a £20m development loan for a 30-apartment scheme in London. The team has grown to include an Associate Director, Senior Associates, a Data Specialist and a Non-Executive Director, and the business is now looking to welcome a new Associate.

About the role

This is not a seat at the bottom of a pyramid. From the outset, the Associate will run live transactions of £2m–£50m, deal directly with clients and lenders, and sit alongside the founding directors day to day - learning how deals are originated, structured and closed from the people doing it, not from a training manual. The work you do will be visible, client-facing and directly rewarded.

Working in collaboration with the directors, the Associate will deliver on client mandates in the debt and equity space. The individual will understand clients' business plans and key motives, configure innovative financial solutions, and play a strategic role in their business growth. The Associate will think commercially, build lasting relationships and quickly become a trusted adviser to clients and lenders alike.

Progression is real and measured: strong performers typically advance to Senior Associate within 18–24 months, with responsibility and reward growing as the business scales. Development is supported through structured mentorship from the directors and regular reviews. You will join a high-performing team, drawn from diverse professional backgrounds, that strives to add value and think differently. Our culture supports teamwork, collaborative thinking and meritocracy, where individual goals are supported in unison with the company's ambitious targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Procure and manage new funding mandates, supported by LEXI's brand, data and lender relationships.
  • Refine clients' business plans, structure proposals and obtain market-leading terms.
  • Drive multiple transactions simultaneously from brief through to completion.
  • Grow LEXI's market awareness and product knowledge in unison with the company's directors.
  • Represent LEXI in market interactions with lender partners, investors and other professionals.
  • Uphold LEXI's core values of teamwork, inclusivity, professionalism and excellent service.

Who we are looking for

The successful individual:

  • Will have around 3 years' experience or more in real estate, finance, law or another sector offering strong exposure to real estate professionals.
  • Will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing and delivering transactions or projects.
  • Will be keen to build lasting relationships with clients, lenders and intermediaries, supported by the opportunities and connections LEXI Finance can offer.
  • Will be proficient in Excel and MS Office, curious about AI and comfortable adopting new tools and systems.
  • Will be highly organised, resilient and able to absorb detail quickly, with the flexibility to pivot as circumstances change.
  • Will have excellent communication skills, along with a consultative approach.
  • Will enjoy themselves and thrive as part of an ambitious and tightknit team.

Candidates who meet most, but not all, of these criteria are encouraged to apply.

What we offer:

  • Realistic first-year earnings of £70,000 – £80,000, uncapped — built on a £45,000 base salary with commission and discretionary bonus, and no ceiling on what strong performers can achieve.
  • Base salary reviewed at 12 months, with progression to Senior Associate typically within 18–24 months for strong performers.
  • Office-based in Covent Garden, at the heart of London's real estate market, with one day a week working from home.
  • Genuine responsibility from day one, with structured mentorship from the founding directors.
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, workplace pension and a £500 annual wellbeing contribution.
  • A sociable, close team culture — from charity days and team lunches to summer and Christmas parties.

Inclusion and diversity

Inclusion and diversity are embedded in our culture and are critical to our success. We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal employment opportunity without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or national origin.
