Location: North-West (hybrid)
Hours: Part-time (3–4 days per week)
Salary: 65-95k, dependent on experience
Are you looking for a role where your legal expertise can influence how a business operates and delivers for its customers? This is a newly created in-house position with a values-driven organisation that works across highly regulated sectors.
The Role
You’ll provide practical, commercial advice to colleagues dealing with disputes involving both individuals and small businesses. The role is advisory rather than contentious, but a strong understanding of the litigation process will be key to supporting sound decision-making.
As the organisation’s first in-house lawyer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how legal support is delivered, embed best practice, and act as a trusted adviser to teams across the business. You’ll also manage external legal relationships where needed.
About You
Qualified solicitor or barrister with strong experience in dispute resolution, regulatory law or litigation.
Background in a regulated sector, ideally energy, would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent communicator, able to give clear, pragmatic advice to non-lawyers.
Commercially aware, with the ability to balance legal risk against practical outcomes.
Proactive and adaptable, motivated to contribute in a part-time capacity.
