We are partnering exclusively with a highly regarded UK law firm, who is looking for a

Head of Conflicts & Financial Crime Compliance.

You’ll be trusted to lead your area, make decisions and shape how the function operates – without layers of management or unnecessary bureaucracy.

You’ll lead the firm's conflicts, client onboarding, AML and financial crime compliance function, manage the Case & Conflicts Team and act as the firm's MLRO.

You’ll also work closely with partners and senior leadership, advising on complex conflicts, AML, sanctions, high-risk clients and wider financial crime matters.

Who are we looking for?

  • You could be a qualified lawyer or an experienced compliance professional.
  • You'll need law firm experience across conflicts, client onboarding, AML and financial crime compliance, alongside previous experience as an MLRO or Deputy MLRO.
  • More than anything, you'll be somebody with the confidence, judgement and experience to take ownership of the function and run it properly, with the freedom to make it your own.
