What if you could take everything you know about being a lawyer - and use it to help shape how lawyers work with AI?

We are working with a global law firm on one of the most interesting legal AI appointments we've seen.

They are building a small AI advisory team in London and are looking for a qualified lawyer to help lead it.

This isn't a technology role in the traditional sense. And it isn't about leaving the law behind.

Quite the opposite.

You'll use your experience as a lawyer to work directly with partners and senior lawyers across the firm's international offices, helping them understand how AI can genuinely improve the way they practise - while also giving them the confidence to help their own clients navigate the opportunities AI creates.

That could mean sitting with a partner and exploring how AI could support a live matter.

Helping a team rethink an existing workflow.

Identifying the right tool for a particular piece of work.

Or helping partners understand how they can talk confidently to their clients about AI and demonstrate how the firm is using it.

You'll become someone senior lawyers turn to when they ask

“Could AI help us do this better?”

And because the team is being built now, you'll have the opportunity to help shape how the function develops rather than simply inherit something already established.

You must be a qualified lawyer with meaningful private practice experience, combined with a strong practical understanding of generative AI and a genuine fascination with where the technology is taking the legal profession.

You don't need to be a developer. You don't need to be a traditional technologist.

You need to understand lawyers, understand AI and be able to bring the two together.

If you're a lawyer who finds yourself increasingly more excited by the possibilities of AI than the traditional path ahead of you, this could be a very interesting conversation.
