You’re an HR generalist who enjoys being close to the business. You like variety, ownership, and being trusted to run with things. You’re at your best when you’re building relationships, advising with confidence, and getting involved across the full employee lifecycle – not boxed into one narrow remit.
You want autonomy, visibility, and a role where your work genuinely matters. This role offers exactly that.
You’ll be joining the London office of a global law firm with around 300 people, all working in one building. It’s a friendly, well-run office where HR is respected, people work closely together, and relationships really matter.
You’ll be part of a small, well-established HR team, led by a Director we know well, having supported her into this role. You’ll learn and develop under her guidance - she’s an excellent mentor. In her team there are three other generalists, working alongside specialists in Recruitment, L&D and D&I. As the only HR Advisor, you’ll have your own workstreams, plenty of independence, and support when you need it. The team is approachable, supportive and easy to work with.
What you can expect:
- A genuinely supportive, down-to-earth culture
- A strong focus on inclusion and belonging
- Trust to get on with your role without micromanagement
- An office where people know each other and work well together
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as a generalist HR Advisor across day-to-day HR matters
- Advising managers on people issues in a practical, straightforward way
- Supporting HR projects and ongoing improvements
- Being part of the firm’s growth and development as the HR team evolves
This is a place where people feel looked after and tend to stay. You’ll be given responsibility, support, and the chance to make a real difference.
No CV needed to apply – you can do it in seconds, and we’ll take it from there.
