Head of Conflicts & Financial Crime Compliance.
The biggest attractions?
Autonomy and work-life balance.
You’ll be trusted to lead your area, make decisions and shape how the function operates – without layers of management or unnecessary bureaucracy.
And while this is a senior and important role, the firm has a genuinely refreshing approach to work-life balance. They want somebody excellent at what they do – they don't expect work to consume their life.
You’ll lead the firm's conflicts, client onboarding, AML and financial crime compliance function, manage the Case & Conflicts Team and act as the firm's MLRO.
You’ll also work closely with partners and senior leadership, advising on complex conflicts, AML, sanctions, high-risk clients and wider financial crime matters.
Who are we looking for?
- You could be a qualified lawyer or an experienced compliance professional.
- You'll need law firm experience across conflicts, client onboarding, AML and financial crime compliance, alongside previous experience as an MLRO or Deputy MLRO.
- More than anything, you'll be somebody with the confidence, judgement and experience to take ownership of the function and run it properly, with the freedom to make it your own.
