It’s a strategic role where you’ll work closely with partners on growth strategy, client development, major pitches and profile-raising initiatives. You’ll be trusted to think commercially, challenge ideas and influence decisions - not just deliver them. You’ll also lead and develop two junior managers, making this a true leadership role. The Head of BD is known for giving autonomy, encouraging ideas and creating an environment where people are trusted to do their best work. Across the firm, BD is seen as a strategic function with real influence. This would suit an experienced legal BD professional - ideally with disputes or contentious experience - who wants a broader, more strategic remit and a better balance between work and life.
