Our client, a quietly confident and highly impressive law firm, is looking for a Head of HR to take on a true number two role, working closely with a brilliant HR Director. The firm is exceeding all expectations – punching well above its weight, winning awards, and continuing to grow. But for me, it’s all about culture here. It’s not all about the lawyers. Business professionals are recognised as key contributors - they’re praised, rewarded, and genuinely seen as equals to those who bring in the revenue.

The HR team are fun, grounded, and of course professional when they need to be. They’re highly regarded within the firm, and this role will see you leading the team, shaping the firm’s people strategy, and driving engagement through innovative initiatives across the business. With everyone under one roof, it just feels different here - more collaborative, more connected. It’s easy to build meaningful relationships; partners will know your name, and you’ll become part of their story. And it’s an impressive story to be part of.

Quite simply, this is a role where you’ll own and run all things people-related. In an ideal world, the firm are keen to see applicants with a legal private practice background.
