The Riviera International Centre is an iconic destination site in the South West with extensive conferencing and event facilities, including a conference auditorium, arena / exhibition hall and additional meetings and function rooms. A rare and excellent opportunity has arisen to recruit a full time Chef de Partie to work primarily in our Cafe but also in our Events department delivering a variety of menus.

Main Duties

  • To work closely with the Head Chef to supervise all kitchen operations for the cafe and events.
  • To work closely with the Head Chef on stock ordering, rotation & control.
  • To work closely with the Head Chef on maintaining kitchen hygiene, health, and safety standards, and ensuring the quality of the food served to customers and guests.
  • Produce high quality food both design and taste wise.
  • Assist the F&B Manager with ordering supplies and stock inventory in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

The Person

  • Will have cooking experience in a cooked to order kitchen environment.
  • Will possess a friendly, approachable and 'can do' attitude.
  • Will be passionate about providing exceptional quality food.
  • Will be flexible - evening and weekend work will apply.
  • Will be exceptionally well organised with good communication skills.
  • Be prepared to work hard and keep smiling even on the busiest of days.
