A leading, top ranked London firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Employment team. This is an opportunity to work within one of the largest and most established Employment practices in the UK, advising a diverse client base on complex, high quality matters across the full spectrum of Employment law.

The Role

You will play a key role within a collaborative and high performing team, advising clients ranging from multinational organisations to high growth businesses.

Your work will span a broad mix of advisory, contentious and transactional matters, including:

  • Day to day advisory work including disciplinaries, grievances, contracts and policies
  • Employment Tribunal litigation, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims
  • High Court litigation, including restrictive covenants, team moves and injunctions
  • Support on corporate transactions, including M\&A, restructures and TUPE
  • Advisory work on complex workforce issues, including atypical working and global mobility
  • Involvement in international and cross border employment matters

You will also take increasing responsibility for managing client relationships, supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5-8 PQE with strong experience in Employment law
  • Deep technical knowledge across advisory and contentious matters
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing client relationships
  • Experience supervising junior lawyers is beneficial
  • A proactive, commercial and solutions focused mindset
  • Demonstrated interest in business development and client growth
  • A collaborative approach with a genuine interest in team development
