Lex Exec is supporting a highly regarded family law boutique to hire an experienced matrimonial finance solicitor. This is a unique opportunity to join an already award-winning team that is destined for even greater heights in the years ahead.
This firm has experienced rapid growth in recent years, establishing itself as one of the most respected boutiques in London and gaining increasing recognition on the international stage. It operates at the very top end of the private client market, advising HNW and UHNW individuals on complex, high-value family law matters. The team includes widely recognised specialists known for handling sophisticated and often international cases.
The firm is now seeking an experienced Family Solicitor with a strong focus on financial remedies work, acting on high-value divorce cases involving complex asset structures, international elements, and reputational sensitivity.
Why This Firm?
- This is a modern, ambitious boutique that offers a compelling alternative to the traditional City or large national firm model.
- Access to a premier UHNW caseload from day one, including complex and high-value financial remedy matters.
- A firm that has grown rapidly into one of the most respected boutiques in London, with clear momentum and ambition.
- A transparent and achievable pathway to progression, including Partner.
- A highly competitive and clearly structured bonus scheme that genuinely rewards performance.
- A collaborative culture built on a we not I ethos, where success is shared.
- Early and meaningful client exposure and responsibility.
- A sensible and flexible approach to hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office, 2 from home).
This has proven particularly attractive for individuals in larger firms who feel progression is unclear or overly rigid, and/or where their contribution is not fully recognised.
The Role
You will work across a broad range of private client family matters, with a core focus on financial remedies. Your caseload is likely to include:
- High-value divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
- Matters involving business interests, private equity, and trust structures.
- Complex cases with international and multi-jurisdictional elements.
- Negotiation, Private FDRs, and High Court litigation.
- Working closely with counsel, forensic accountants, and private client specialists.
You will be given the autonomy to manage your own matters while benefiting from close collaboration with leading practitioners in the field.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years PQE within private client family law.
- Strong experience in financial remedies work, ideally within the HNW or UHNW space.
- Comfortable dealing with complex asset structures, including businesses and trusts.
- Experience of international matters is highly desirable.
- Confident managing your own caseload while contributing to a team environment.
- Ambitious, with a clear desire to progress toward Partner.
