Our client is a leading workplace law firm, consistently top ranked in the legal directories. They are seeking a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join them in either their London or Reading offices. This is a key hire into a well established team advising both employers and senior individuals on complex and sensitive workplace matters.
The firm operates a true one firm culture, with close collaboration across London and regional offices. Lawyers are encouraged to work together across locations, gain exposure to a broad client base, and build strong internal relationships.
The role offers a balanced mix of claimant and respondent work, with significant autonomy, senior client contact, and the opportunity to act as a mentor to more junior lawyers.
The work includes advising on a wide range of contentious and non contentious Employment matters, including:
- Senior executive and partner advisory work
- Disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
- Unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims
- Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation
- Team moves and strategic disputes
- Day to day employer advisory work
- Contracts, policies and workplace documentation
- Reorganisations and business transfers
Clients include senior individuals and well known organisations across various sectors including tech, retail, pharma and financial services.
This is a collegiate and entrepreneurial environment with no rigid partner teams. Lawyers work closely with multiple partners and are trusted with responsibility once capability is demonstrated.
