Experienced Employment Solicitor - Associate and Senior Associate Level in the City of London, with potential to also consider candidates in Oxford, Manchester, and Leeds. Hybrid working (2 office days per week).

A highly regarded, award-winning global employment law firm is seeking to hire experienced Associates and Senior Associates as part of continued strategic growth. The practice is recognised nationally and internationally for corporate and senior executive advisory work, alongside complex High Court litigation and arbitration matters. There is flexibility to join different specialist teams depending on your experience, strengths and long-term ambitions, including:
- Core Employment Advisory
- Employment Litigation
- Senior Executive and partnership disputes
The Work
This Employment group has been ranked at the top of the market for over three decades, with multiple Partners individually recognised as leaders in their specific field. The team advises across the full spectrum of Employment law, including:
- Day to day advisory work - disciplinaries, grievances, contracts, policies, flexible working, discrimination and restructures
- Employment Tribunal litigation - unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and equal pay
- High Court litigation - restrictive covenants, team moves and injunctions
- Trade union and collective matters - consultation and industrial action
- Transactional support on M&A, divestments and outsourcings including TUPE
- Global mobility and cross border projects
- Reward and incentives
- Senior executive disputes and negotiated exits
- International coordination of multi-jurisdictional projects
The breadth of work offers real technical depth combined with strong commercial exposure and client contact.
About You
You will ideally demonstrate:
- 1 to 8 years PQE within a recognised Employment team
- Strong technical grounding across advisory and contentious matters
- Experience acting primarily for employer clients
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills
- Confidence running matters with appropriate supervision
- Experience supervising junior lawyers where relevant
- A proactive, commercial and collaborative approach
- Interest in marketing and business development
