Lex Exec is supporting a highly regarded Family Law firm in Brighton & Hove with the appointment of a junior Family Solicitor.
This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the South East's most respected Family practitioners, gaining exposure to sophisticated private Family work in an environment that places real emphasis on professional development, client care and constructive dispute resolution.
The opportunity
The firm is ranked in Chambers and The Legal 500, with an established reputation for complex financial matters, private children work, mediation and collaborative law.
The successful solicitor will have the opportunity to develop experience across:
- Divorce and complex financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters and child arrangements
- Prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements
- Mediation, collaborative law and non-court dispute resolution
- Wider private Family matters, including high-net-worth cases
You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers in a supportive, specialist team.
About you
We welcome applications from newly qualified solicitors through to approximately 5 years' PQE.
You may be approaching qualification with a strong Family Law training seat or already practising in Family Law and looking for more specialist work and high-quality mentoring.
An interest in constructive dispute resolution and excellent client care is particularly important.
Working arrangements
Based in Brighton & Hove, this is a predominantly office-based role. NQ solicitors would ordinarily attend five days per week, with approximately one day working from home generally available from around 2 PQE. More senior practitioners can expect commensurate flexibility.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
